Jennifer is a criminal defense attorney in the Reno-Sparks area. She takes a compassionate and honest approach to every case, and will vigorously advocate for you. She also offers a wealth of experience in criminal defense work.

In 2003, Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She then went to work as a Legislative Aide to two Assembly Speakers in the Nevada Legislature. There, she developed a deeper passion for the law. She then went to law school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and graduated in 2008.

Since then, she has worked in many areas of the law – civil defense, family law, and prosecutor. During this time she realized that criminal defense was her passion and joined the Washoe County Public Defender’s Office in 2016.

During her time with the Washoe County Public Defender’s Office, she handled all types of cases including misdemeanor, various felonies, murder, and sexual assault cases. While with the office, she became a Chief Deputy Public Defender and supervised a team of felony attorneys. This broadened her understanding of the criminal justice system and her ability to develop focused strategies. As a former prosecutor, she can anticipate the State’s tactics and defend against them.
